Emmett Hughes Bio
Singer-songwriter Emmett Hughes (Huntington, New York) writes and performs songs featuring an eclectic mix of styles- rock, reggae, pop and singer songwriter- and moving lyrics.
A passionate creator and performer since childhood, he’s currently working on his next album, The Third Degree, scheduled for release in December 2023. Live performances in support of the album begin in New York in December 2023.
Emmett’s first album, Sixty Trips Around the Sun, was released in 2019. He plays live (guitar) locally in and around the NY metro area.
In addition to being a musical mad scientist, he’s a father and spouse, a chiropractic physician, master gardener, intrepid sailor and sports a blistering tennis serve.
